To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is written to endorse the Boiler Room, which has been a terrific support system for many of the youth in our town. They have provided training and internships for many of our students, while also providing a safe place for all teens to be. As teachers in Port Townsend for many years, we see how many of our teens use the Boiler Room as a place to go after school, a place to learn work skills, a place where information for teens is readily available, a place where they feel valued. Since there are so few places in Port Townsend that provide services for teens, The Boiler Room fills a variety of needs for many young people.

We totally support the City of Port Townsend in increasing the funding for The Boiler Room. Our young people are worth the investment.

Sincerely,

Wanda Synnestvedt and Patty Spencer
Teachers
