5:08 Reading of the log book by Cara
-We were out of a lot of stuff this week because Cara was sick. Things should be better now!
-lots of free potato salad- eat it, serve it to patrons.
-if you’re not sure if a person is still banned or not, tell them they need to talk to Cara about their status.
-when are we getting a coffeehouse intern? We’re going to do some interviews tomorrow. Koré at 5, Caitlin at 5:30. Steve will call to confirm after checking with hiring committee.

5:16 Ellie- hip hop open mic was awesome. For art group tomorrow (2/9) we’re making snowflakes for the Snowflake Ball on the 27th, Wednesday at 8 is Boileroke, Thursday is open mic, Sunday there’s a show--- Collapsing the Opposites. Comedy night is the 19th. Soup bowl event date TBA. More shows, too, but Ellie’s not sure when.

5:20 Anna- a speaker from the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) is going to come speak for movie night tomorrow night. We’re playing The Soloist at 7. Jay, Brian, and Anna have been talking about having tutoring nights—interested in getting tutored or being a tutor for various subjects? Finally, we’re having an anti-smoking drawing contest—winner’s design goes on mugs that will be kept in the Boiler Room! Also, if you want “I Only Smoke When I’m On Fire” patches, bring your own shirts to the Tobacco Session talks at the BR on Thursdays at 3pm. Maybe there will be a Tobacco Fair in March? Anna needs people to help pull this off—manning booths and advertising and stuff.

5: 27 Cara had a rough week and was sick, and just wants to remind us all of the Golden Rule: Respect.

5:30 Steve & Amy- yesterday Bruce Marston (who will be back in June!) said to say hello to the whole Boiler Room. Also, in one week, there will be a board meeting. Probably it will be important—as in, we will start talking about the process of finding a new manager. Everyone should come.
