-The staff contact list is not to be used for any personal reasons! This means we can’t give out the contact info that we have to our patrons. (It is okay for YOU to call the people they want to reach and pass on messages.) This is both a law and a Boiler Room policy—it’s called the Conflict of Interest policy, and you can find it in the Policy section of the Log Book
-We have a mousy. Be careful leaving food out!

Interns’ Portion
5:13 Jazmyn- This week, our new coffeeshop intern (!!!) is being trained on handling inventory and making chai!
5:14 Anna- Tuesday night movie night. 7pm, Awakenings. Talks about mental health aaaaand pizza. CONTEST for anti-smoking design—winner gets theirs made into mugs the BR will use. Alex Lovett’s going to be in a play about mental health on Wednesday at 7. Wanna go as a group? Meet at the BR at 6:45ish.
5:20 Ellie- Comedy night on the 19th—everyone that shows up here Friday at 8 will be taken to the Upstage for a field trip! The band that played last night was awesome. There will be a show on the 20th. 26th we’re having a Haiti benefit show, starting 5:30ish? So far 6 bands have wanted to participate. Tomorrow’s art group will be making snowflakes for the Snowflake Ball on the 27th. There will be another show on the 28th. Marc Weinblatt’s doing a performance with his Poetic Justice troupe here on the 24th or 25th, and Ellie’s making a backdrop for it—help please? Theme=oppression & symbolism.
5:27 Elena- Potluck at Cara’s on Friday was cool. Volunteer prize drawing! Jazzy wins books. From now on, instead of filling out separate sheets as your entries, just write your name on the bottom right corner of the till sheet and we’ll tear them off when we process deposits.

Manager’s Portion
5:30 Cara- Manager position will be open for resume submissions sometime within the next week. // Someone drew a Spongebob Nazipants? Come on, guys—please realize that even if kids think this is a joke, it results in having to talk about it with the community for hours. Let’s spend our time in better ways. // Issues have been going on with the BR community being concerned about underage community members in bars. Ellie apologizes for risking the reputation of the BR that way.
