Ahren: Respect each other! Respect the customers! Thanks for keeping us open despite the snow! Thanks, Bruce, for shoveling the sidewalk! Thursday, at six o'clock, Greg Lalish will be showing a movie about natural building techniques. On Friday, at three o'clock, Jackie Aase will be doing a presentation on a petition to end 'Corporate Personhood' as well as helping people to register to vote. Ants will now be referred to as 'Friends'. Please wipe everything down often (especially syrup bottles) to prevent our friends from showing up. Keep keeping track of people! And thank you for your good work keeping your tills in order. We got a small grant from an organization founded by some followers of the Grateful Dead for our contributions to the community in the form of music and art.
Noah: Good job on getting your Food Handler's Permits! Talk to your friends about volunteering here! And if anybody needs to talk, whether it's about volunteer-related issues or not, feel free to find me, as I am happy to do whatever I can to help, even if that just means listening.
Paula: Be awesome to each other and awesomeness shall come your way! Saturday night is our Blacklight Party/Dance! There'll be techno/electronica/nottechnoorelectronica music. Make people show up! It's gonna be cool. Open Mic is Thursday at eight, Jazz Jam starts at seven.
L'Ellen: Find me for coffee training! And please rinse coffee pot and filter in between filling it up.
Board: Check out the Young Professionals Network. Today, eighteen years ago, we served free soup for the first time, here. Talk to Bruce if you need to get any info to Les Ruben from OlyCAP.
Community Issues: Potluck at Marla's! Also: Being homeless is hard. Respect the homeless, please.
