Logbook: Clouds through one window, blue sky through the other, go to bed like a secret agent, be undercover.//If you’re not using sponges, make sure they’re rung out and left somewhere to dry. Let’s keep them from getting smelly and/or icky.//Wash out the sinks! Let’s not let them get gross!//Hunter’s wife, Jenny, will be in Portland on the 31st!!! Hunter sends his thanks to the BR for all the help.//Is Alyssa Reed allowed in? I’m pretty sure she’s not allowed in. Steve will decide if she’s allowed back in.//The sink is being a jerk. Stop it, sink. OR ELSE!!!//[INSERT SIMON PEGG QUOTE HERE]//Ivan says “Hi BR!” and notes the fact that it is always 12:36 in the BR.//There is now a tab going through OlyCAP for PT’s homeless population.//Please make sure there is milk and half&half in the espresso fridge AT ALL TIMES. Thank you.//PLEASE do your SHIFT DUTIES. Thank you.//Extemporaneous Vagabond Hyperbole: An Americano with a shot of Irish Cream? Maybe some chocolate syrup as well? Discuss amongst yourselves.
Paula: No jazz or poetry this week. Just regular Open Mic. Show on Saturday! Knothead, maybe? We'll see.
Ahren: New way of keeping tabs on the tab! There's a piece of paper in the change drawer, which we must write what the person is getting, how much it cost, and how much out of $100 that is. On the till sheet, in the notes section, tic off how many people are coming in here. And make another tic if someone seems like they might be a member of our lovely homeless community. Keep track of the soup we're giving away. And keep doing your shift duties! Wipe things down all the time (such as the syrup bottles and the surrounding areas) in order to keep our ant problem in check.
L'Ellen: Where do utensils go? Ask me! I'm trying to get it all better organized.
Noah: Keep getting your food handler's permits!
Board: Meeting tonight! Food not bombs went really well. Bylaws might be getting changed at the Board Meeting tonight. Looking for a Youth Representative, still.
Community Issues: Looking for something to do on the 23rd? Enjoy good food and bad music at Marla's house! Monday after next we're having a party for Marla after the staff meeting, as well. Microwave is on the fritz. Noah's birthday is on the 24th.Woo. Today is Martin Luther King Day!
OSHA Report: Splinters suck! Like walking on your hands? You might get splinters in your hands. Use the tweezers (from our first aid kit) to get the splinter out. Disinfect it and cover with a bandaid.
Life Issues! [3/2/1] “I<3theBR!!!”
